We have all heard of Spring cleanup…every year around this time we walk around our home or apartment and clean everywhere. Why Spring? maybe because the sun comes out, the snow melts, the green grass appears and everything looks a little cleaner. Or maybe it’s because the sun comes out and the dust becomes visual!
Spring is also a great time to give your facility a safety cleanup/audit. If you’re a safety manager, or someone in charge of your facility’s safety program then now is a good time to give your facility a once over…maybe a twice over.
In this blog we will provide a safety cleanup checklist for the outside of your facility. The next installment we will discuss the inside of your facility. Hopefully this is helpful in your efforts to improve your facility’s safety.

- Are your speed bumps effective or do they need to be replaced?
- Does your parking lot need new paint and stencils?
- Are your parking curbs unsightly and damaged?
- Do you need guide posts to keep cars off of damaged grass?
