What do Central Park and Forrest Gump have in common? Benches. Central Park has around 9,000 park benches that would stretch 7 miles if placed end to end, and Forrest Gump won’t be Forrest Gump without his iconic bus bench.

Three Tips for Winter Workplace Safety

Be prepared for winter!Did you know the average snowflake falls at a speed of 3.1 miles an hour? This means when weather forecasters say winter is coming, expect it to get here fast.

While winter means a time for snowboarding and snowman building, it’s also a dangerous time of year. In fact, in 2008 alone, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recorded 108,500 deaths.

The leading cause of death during winter are coronary and respiratory diseases caused by extreme cold. Other common causes for injuries and even death are frostbites, as well as slips and falls due to icy conditions.
